The Museum of Geography of the University of Padua is a place where your idea of Geography can be transformed: from a discipline made of lists of immutable things to a science that studies how and why our world changes.
Through instruments, maps, globes, models and photographs, the museum proposes a journey in three stages, summarized in the key words: Explore, Measure, Tell.
The museum’s collections testify to centuries of geographical research and teaching, crossing the main turns in geographical thought, from 19th century determinism to the most recent developments of humanistic geography.
