Internship

An internship, or training placement, is a period of training aimed at students during their course of study (curricular internship), or at new graduates within 12 months of obtaining their degree (extracurricular internship).

At the Museum, we have already welcomed numerous students from the University of Padua and other Italian universities, involving them in various activities. These have ranged from digitizing ancient maps and atlases to creating communication campaigns for our social media channels, from cataloguing a collection of topographic maps to inventing guided tour routes. Each intern is invited to contribute according to their inclinations, fitting into the work streams carried out by the museum.

To find out what activities are available for the internship, it is necessary to write to museo.geografia@unipd.it to schedule an appointment via Zoom or in person.
